Redeeming Your Swagbucks

Just wanted to remind you of a few important things about redeeming your Swagbucks. Swagbucks is a great way to earn money online in the form of gift cards. For those of you who do Swagbucks on a regular basis or participated in the 30 day Swagbucks Challenge here are a few things to remember when redeeming your swagbucks

Still haven't signed up for Swagbucks? Click here and receive 30 Swagbucks just for signing up!

1. You Can Redeem Your Swagbucks for up to 2 prizes every day

You can chose 2 different prizes or 2 of the same prize but you can only redeem 2 maximum prizes each day so if you are planning on cashing in on a smaller prizes (like maybe Amazon.com gift cards) then you need to be careful that you leave yourself enough time to order the quantity you want 2 at a time

2. You Can Redeem Up to 5 Like Prizes each Month

This is kind of limiting when it comes to smaller value gift cards, but at least you know in advance and you can devise a plan. It is 450 Swagbucks for an Amazon gift card which makes your trade in value just over a penny a Swagbuck, but you are limited to $300 worth a year, but there are other denominations of Amazon e-gift cards and gift cards to other major retailers, including Target, CVS, Starbucks and Home Depot, so don’t let this stop you from earning big bucks.

3. Prizes Will Take 10 to 14 days to be Received

It takes E-gift cards 10-14 days to show up in your account (after they’ve been verified in your email) not including weekends and holidays. Physical prizes will be mailed in 10 to 14 days, after which it can still take up to 2 weeks to reach you so keep this in mind when ordering

4. There is no limit to how many Gift Cards you can redeem during a single purchase on a participating retailer.

So if you happen to max out and earn $300 worth of $5 Amazon gift cards you can enter all the gift card codes into your account and make one $300 purchase. (Sounds great to me!)

5. Most Gift Cards Available are E-Gift Cards

So if you are looking to give someone a gift card then you will only have a code to offer them. In this case I would recommend purchasing a higher denomination, instead of giving them 5 codes worth $5 each might be worth it to cash in for just one $25 code. Some retailers (Target for example) sell physical gift cards that you can have shipped to you or another recipient so this may also be something you want to look into before you redeem your swagbucks.

6. Gift Card Codes Will Not Be Sent to Your Email

Remember that your E-Gift card codes will not be sent to your email. Instead 10 to 14 days after ordering you will find these in the section called “My Gift Cards” under My Account.
