Weekly Menu 10/2/11

 Okay being organized does make a difference in all parts of life. So back to planning more meals at home and less eating out. Plus in the spirit of saving money we cannot keep eating out (unless there is a great deal going on of course). I am a little excited to start cooking again, my amazing husband has been doing just about all the cooking for the past few months and he could use a break.

I like to plan enough meals to feed us for the week and then decide from day to day what we are going to eat, depending on what I feel like eating or how much work any certain meal will take.

Breakfast
  • Pancakes 
  • Cinnamon Rolls and Fresh Strawberries
  • Raspberry Cream cheese Coffee Cake
  • Crumb Topped Donuts & Fruit
  • Oatmeal & Bananas
  • Egg Biscuit Sandwiches & Yogurt
  • Leftovers or Repeat
Lunch (not that exciting, just a mix and match of the kids favorites)
  • Grilled Cheese & Yogurt
  •   Macaroni & Cheese and Pork Chops (from last weeks leftovers)
  • Cheesy Mashed Potatoes and Chicken Nuggets
  • Spaghetti
  • Peanut butter Sandwiches and Apple slices
  • Leftovers or Repeat
  • Cheese Pizza
Dinner:
Snacks
  • Grapes
  • Watermelon
  • Cheese Sticks (on hand)
  • Granola or Cereal Bars (on hand)
Sweets:
  • Chocolate Chip Cookies (from refrigerated dough)
  • Pumpkin Roll
  • Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Muffins (from box mix)
